Why is clothing for girls so ridiculous?  Can’t they look cute without “princess” or glitter unicorns sprawled across their shirt?  Recently while shopping with my kids, we found several t-shirts for my son with clever puns and satire.  When we made way to the girl section, the t-shirt selection was more than disappointing.  There was nothing my daughter wanted or for that matter anything I would want her to wear.  

There needs to be t-shirt choices for girls that want to present themselves as smart and witty interested in more than kittens, rainbows and taking “selfies” of themselves. With the help of my clever children, we are going to start making our own t-shirts that they are proud to wear.
